Abstract | Starting from an analysis of the health experiences that migrants have, before, during and after the migration process, the article intends to shed light on the more silent aspects related to the sense of well-being of people who have experienced a movement of detachment from their origins and integratuon into a new contest. Migration, in fact, as a difficult and traumatic experience, may risk paying attention simply to survival, to being-in-life, hiding "existential" needs and resources which are also "vital" for health integral of the subject. If we consider that the experience of health is subjective and is built on a cultural level, it is necessary to investigate and take into consideration in the care of the subject both the cognitive and the emotional aspects, as well as the contextual factors as well as the relational, bodily and sensory ones that involve the person in its integrity. Study paths and experiences aimed at enhancing the informal areas of education and care are taken into consideration: access to cultural heritage as a tool for promoting social integration and personal well-being, the involvement of migrants in the care of collective contexts (gardens , public spaces, etc ...) allows to underline the importance of preserving the meaning of beauty and seeing to the search for meaning of migrants, through artistic and creative educational and care paths. |
