Compassion Satisfaction e disturbi vicari tra gli studenti di Educazione Professionale durante il tirocinio formativo. Uno studio osservazionale come punto di partenza per l’implementazione di azioni didattiche e di tutoring future.

Abstract

The internship is as a powerful training and orientation tool for students: indeed, it is an opportunity to acquire not only professional skills, but also to gradually acquire a role-specific professional identity. The paper presents and discusses the results of a quantitative observational study on a group of students enrolled in Professional Education Degree Course at the University of Padua, which was lacking educational support figures, as university tutors or coordinators. It was discovered that about the 20% of the students involved were at risk of developing Burnout o STSD. Study results provide interesting stimulus to plan some tutoring and training activities in the next years, oriented to support students in re-elaborating their internship experiences and stimulating them to acquire and develop critical thinking attitude, self- care skills and social skills
