Today, the present seems compressed, folded back on itself in the rush of fast-paced lives immersed in productivism and efficiency logics. This race also seems to involve a frantic search for immediate answers that sweep away doubts, allow us to keep moving, and enable us to live with certainties, no matter how illusory. Such efficiency logics seem to have also permeated the socio-educational sphere, with educators and teachers increasingly constrained by performance-oriented demands, grappling with constant delays where there seems to be no more room for uncertainty, unpredictability, or to questioning the "why" of their actions: characteristics, however, that are constitutive of educational work. In this direction, this theoretical contribution aims to investigate the heuristic value of questioning and problematization by addressing some questions that have captured the attention of educators and teachers during several studies on the well-being of education professionals.
